This post may seem somewhat self indulgent,

The Flight of the Bumblebee Series..again..

but let me explain!

I have never attended a blog conference.

Everything I do at Limezinnias Design have learned exploring.

or asking questions.

I often use PicMonkey, a site which has a 

free online photo editing tool.

 Although, I use PicMonkey frequently,

I found out about the collage technique this morning reading

6h Street Design School.

Home Office for the Busy Bee! "Flight of the Bumblebee #3 & #4

I was playing with looks this morning. 

Below is a home office filled with the

Etsy this morning.

These buzzing bees are on a more generous size of paper, 12x12.

I have shown them in a matte and next to an abstract painting.

The listing is for the artwork, this will help you visualize what they look like matted.

A gold frame would be pretty!

The Flight of the Bumblebee! A New Series of Paintings.

Sitting in my office this week,

watching the bees hover around 

the topiary shaped holly bush

inspired a new series..

The Flight of the Bumblebee!

The greenery directly beyond the pane of glass is a 

buzzz of bees.

All sizes, different colors...

 how many kinds of bees are there?  

I was going to trim it back, but I definitely have to wait!

Until then,

I will just enjoy these busy, buzzy, honeybees.

Somewhat abstract, embellished with gold here are the first of

The Flight of the Bumble Bee # 1 & #2.

Each original watercolor is signed and dated on the back.

They do not come with the frame, 

but I thought it would be nice to see how they might look in one.

Don't you think they would be pretty in a gilded gold frame too?
