they go in and out of style, so does the color.
Some ornaments have character and become vintage,
or collectible,
but a Christmas tree
is so much fun when you can look at the branches
and
see the ornament your daughter just had to have
when she was 8,
or
remember the goofy, lopsided reindeer
she fashioned with love,
or
the crocheted snowflake
your son's Sunday School teacher gave him.
The red feather picks may go out of style when
he quits having so much fun,
shooting them into the tree...
