Meet Jana Bek!

Discovering artwork and design elements that
have been styled by an individual in a pretty
 or classic setting,
in a happy, unexpected way inspires me!
Yesterday, I talked about one of the approaches I employ for finding inspiration.
There are many other ways.
Today, I want to introduce a designer that impresses me.
  Meet Jana Bek!
Jana is the interior designer/founder of Bek Design.
She specializes in eDesign Services and Interior Design
via email and phone correspondence
(translation: that means you can live anywhere and still get her help!).
Jana is ardent about collaborating with clients;
 identifying the consummate print,
 palette and layer of styles,
bringing a room to life while balancing their needs.
Jana possesses an ability to mix high and low elements.
She works with her clients incorporating unusual components,
determining where they should invest
and what their priorities should be in refreshing spaces.
She has a gift for introducing unique touches such as a compilation of art
from a fabulous Etsy vendor
 (think gallery wall!)
or suggesting DIY options a client can employ
to update and create versatility for their existing pieces.
Jana is also a regular contributor to
DIY projects for MadebyGirl (check out her shop).
See for yourself, go visit Jana at Bek Design!!

Watercolor Design!

One of the artists I hold in high esteem is
Carolyn Quartermaine.
I have loved her art for years.
Her airy, light, colorful design takes my breath away.
See for yourself!
Don't you agree??
